Customized Treatment for Skin Tightening
Ultrea Skin HIFU utilizes different cartridges to deliver accurate and stable HIFU energy to the dermis and SMAS layer and can be adjusted based on patients’ characteristics and needs.
Two types of cartridges have been approved by FDA, Taiwan：
1.3.0 mm cartridge: targets the dermis layer to stimulate collagen production and improve the firmness of the skin without any skin damages.
2.4.5 mm cartridge: targets the SMAS layer to promote tightening of the skin and regeneration of elastic fibers for a sharp facial contour without any skin damages.
A combined usage of cartridge is recommended for optimal results.
Real Time Ultrasound Interface - Enhanced Treatment Safety
Ultra Skin HIFU is equipped with a real time interface with 20 mm of ultrasound penetration allowing the physician to focus the target area according to the yellow line.
The interface enhances precision and the safety of the treatment.
Dual Skin Tightening Treatment - Thermage CPT and Ultra Skin HIFU
Thermage CPT and Ultra Skin High Intensity Focused Ultrasound (HIFU) are both effective non-invasive anti-aging and treatments with lifting effect and is often combined for optimal results. Thermage CPT utilizes maximum bulk heat for the stimulation of collage growth whereas the Ultra Skin HIFU focuses on the subcutaneous tissue as deep as 4.5mm underneath the skin, which effectively penetrates the superficial muscular aponeurotic system (SMAS) layer to lift and contour the face.
Treatment Instructions
｜Ultra Skin HIFU does not cause any open wound. Minor redness and swelling usually subside after few hours. Please do not cold compress the area of treatment.
｜Regular cleansing, skincare and make up application can be resumed after the treatment. Please keep skin hydrated at all times and use sunblocks.
｜Avoid spicy foods and alcohols for a week after the treatment.
｜Treatment effects can be seen in 1 month, peaks at 3-6 months, and lasts for 1-2 years.
｜Refrain from hot springs, sauna, and steam room for 3 days after the treatment.
｜In extremely rare cases, patients may experience temporary edema, blister, bruising, redness, or textural irregularities, which usually subsides within a few days. Please apply the prescribed ointment if necessary.
