What is Laser Hair Removal
Laser hair removal effectively reduced the hair density and thickness during the active growth phase. 20-40% of hair reduction can be expected in every session and the results can be prolonged with increased session.
Each hair passes through three phases of hair growth cycle: anagen (active growth phase), catagen (transition phase), and telogen (resting phase). The hair bulb contains a large amount of melanin during the active growth phase and is highly reactive to the DPC laser. Likewise, DPC laser does not work on hair in during the resting phase.
Depending on the density and thickness of the hair, most patients require 4-8 sessions with a minimum of 3-4 weeks apart.
Treatment Instructions
｜Avoid sunburns one month in prior to the treatment.
｜Post-laser redness is always expected and redness will gradually disappear with few hours, post-treatment discomfort can be reduced by ice packs or lotion.
｜Avoid UV exposure and keep the skin hydrated at all times after the treatment.
｜Activities that may irritate the skin should be refrain for at least two weeks until the permission from the physician.
